Friendly staff, but loud nights
The staff were helpful, always ready to assist. The location was great, just a short stroll to the vibrant waterfront area where we enjoyed some local cuisine.
Our nights were disrupted by noise from a nearby cleaning room was great. The lack of soundproofing in the modest rooms was disappointing.

I appreciated the spaciousness of the rooms, their tasteful decoration, and the amount of equipment available. All these exceeded my expectations.
I very much disliked the dawn light coming in through the uncurtained frosted windows high up on the walls. This woke us from sleep around 0530 hrs and there was no way of blocking the light.

We were given an upgrade and the hotel was brand new and very comfortable and well designed. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful and location was right in the centre of Knysna.
Cost of laundry was prohibitive.

We had a canny time here! The staff were proper friendly and sorted us out fast when we fancied a room change. The location was spot on—just a quick walk to the waterfront. Just a shame about the limited breakfast options, though!

The hotel is located withing walking distance of the waterfront and a number of excellent restaurants. The hotel staff were very helpfull and did a great job in checking us in and helping woth local information. The room was very elegantly decorated, very spacious and both the bed and shower compare well to those of luxury properties I have stayed in. Finally there was secure covered parking. All in an excellent option.

secure parking, modern facilities, fantastic location
The bathroom door offers zero privacy!!! The floor isn't impeccably clean, leading to blackened feet after a short walk. Needs a better-stocked bar and late-night communal sitting options!!!

Nicely decorated and spotless place overall with nice location in a quiet area. Efficient staff, great services, including plenty of fabulous delicacies. Location near to the centre of town as well as restaurants.

The best part of our stay was the manager's decision to upgrade our room without us even mentioning it. They gave us an amazing room with a huge balcony and spectacular view of the waterfront! We loved the modern design of the room - it was one of the nicest hotels we've ever stayed at (and we are frequent international travelers).

The suite apartment 101 was absolutely beautiful and and great if you are staying for more than two nights. The hotel is centrally located and within walking distance to all the restaurants, action and shops.
The aircon in our bedroom (suite apartment 101) was very noisy -particularly at night. My mom stayed in room 212 which was very small (even for one person). There was no chair underneath or next to the build-in desk area so, she could not check her emails. There is no separate bathroom. The bath and toilet is in the same room. So, important to check before you book these small rooms as it really would not be big enough for two people.

We loved this hotel. It was wonderfully located and beautifully decorated. Spacious, Comfortable, practical & lovely. We were very pleased with it in every way. Free parking, well located, safe. The hotel staff were helpful & friendly, and we even received a rose &box of chocolates for valentines. A lovely touch. Breakfast at the plaza downstairs was delightful, as were the lovely shops. The waterfront was merely 2 blocks away, and a convenient laundry mat, was helpfully pointed out by the hotel staff a block away. I would totally recommend this hotel and would love to stay there again. Also it was very logically priced.
